Dr. Juan Alonso

Doctor in Education Cum Laude by the Universidad de Salamanca, he won the Accesit Prize, granted in 1995 by the General Council of the Illustrate Official Colleges of Doctors and Licentiates in Philosophy and Letters and in Science, as well as by the Ministry of Education and Science on the subject of Pedagogic Investigation of the XI Summit of Pedagogic Investigation and Didactic Experiences.

 

Prize of doctorate 1994-1995 for the Professional College of Education of Valladolid.

Prize Latin American of Creativity and Educational Innovation (Mexico, 2002).

He's been a member of the Executive Committee of the World Council for Gifted and Talented Children (1997-2001), and currently serves as a delegate for Spain.

Organizer Committee of XIV World Conference of WCGTC (54 countries represented).

President of the FICOMUNDYT (Ibero-American Federation 1997 - 2003).

Author of several books and tests on the field of Giftedness, and lectures post-graduate courses in México, Colombia, Perú, Argentina, Costa Rica, Brasil, Portugal, Ecuador, Spain, etc.

She is consultant on the giftedness field of the Ministry of Education of Spain and Ecuador.

President of the Spanish Center for Advocacy on the Development of Gifted.
